Struggling To Fly

The theme of this project revolves around the human desire to fly. The wearer of these jewels is invited to move his arms, simulating the beating of birds’ wings, realising that this effort is useless. Furthermore, the chain creates the visual illusion of being very light thanks to the thin rings, which are actually heavy because they are made of iron. These jewels awaken our desire to fly, but once worn they arouse a sense of limitation.
